Gore & Grace is a one-page tabletop RPG based on John Harper's Lasers & Feelings, about fairy-tale characters in a world overrun by the undead. You are a motley group of inhabitants of this world who have been holding out in a castle for some time. Now it is time to set out on one last adventure — one from which you may not return at all or, worse, return only undead.

Spirit

This game is inspired by the fairy tales collected by the Grimms in the Kinder- und Hausmärchen, as well as by other folktales. Naturally, it also draws on zombie fiction such as Max Brooks's World War Z, Robert Kirkman's The Walking Dead and Marvel Zombies, along with films such as George A. Romero's Dawn of the Dead and Edgar Wright's Shaun of the Dead.

Languages

The game was originally written in German and translated into English alongside its development, with the German version serving as the master text. However, the process went both ways, and the English translation ultimately influenced the German text as well. The English version aims to preserve the matter-of-fact tone of the original Grimm tales and their early English translations.
